At the Drupal devroom you can meet fellow Drupal developers, listen to great talks and discuss Drupal.
Right now, the organizers are urgently looking for speakers so let us know in the FOSDEM 2010 group if you want to give a presentation.

Next weekend on Sunday, February 7, we'll have a full day of Drupal talks at the 10th edition of FOSDEM, Europe's biggest, free-est and open-est software conference.
FOSDEM, http://fosdem.org, is a free and non-commercial event organized by the community, for the community. Its goal is to provide Free and Open Source developers a place to meet. The Drupal project was granted a developer room at FOSDEM to do exactly that: to share knowledge about Drupal.
The presentations schedule for the devroom was published a week ago on http://groups.drupal.org/fosdem. It features interesting speakers such as Robert Douglass, Károly Négyesi, Roel de Meester and Kristof van Tomme and even more interesting subjects as mobile device design, AHAH, eID and Views 3. Everyone is invited to attend the presentations.
On Friday the giantesque beer event kicks off the conference. For Drupalistas there is a sprint on Saturday in Zaventem
(http://groups.drupal.org/fosdem).

09:15 - Daniel Wehner - Views 3
10:00 - Matthias Vandermaesen - AHAH crash course

Hello, CiviCRM forum subscribers. This is mailing is to announce a CiviCRM developer camp and to ask you to promote this event if you can think of someone who might be interested in joining us in less than a month in Brussels, Belgium.
We’re preparing a CiviCRM developer camp in Brussels on February 8th and 9th – right after FOSDEM 2010. Developer Camps are a place where CiviCRM developers, administrator and users can get together around CiviCRM. We’d like you to let us know what you want to see at the camp by commenting on the wiki page.
The developer camp is aimed at those that want to learn more about CiviCRM from the people involved in its development. If you are interested in improving your CiviCRM admin skills, learning more about developing with CiviCRM or helping improve the product in any other way, then this camp is for you.
FOSDEM meetings are recognized as ‘The best Free Software and Open Source events in Europe’ and participation is free, so coming to Brussels for the FOSDEM weekend might be a very good idea (Xavier Dutoit, Michael McAndrew, Michał Mach and Piotr Szotkowski will be there prior to the CiviCRM camp).
You can register for the event already on civicrm.org. If budget is an issue, we are offering discounts in exchange for CiviCRM community work (which is another great way to learn about the CiviCRM community).
We’ll also be holding a user meet up and CiviCRM showcase as part of this event. For both the developer camp and the user meet up, we’ll follow a similar structure to the camp which happened in London last July (because we got lots of positive feedback from that camp).
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us by email: shot@civicrm.org
If you need to inform others, the page with all of the above information is civicrm.org/fosdem2010
Thanks for reading this and, hopefully, see you in Brussels!
— (on behalf of the organisers) Piotr Szotkowski
